August's Word of the Month is:

Wee Care will be closed on Monday, September 2, in honor of Labor Day!

It’s almost time for “back to school”.

The first day of school for Festus is Thursday, August 15.

If your child will be leaving us to start “big school”, please let us know.

Just a Reminder:

*Please do not park on the left side of the driveway between the hours of 7:45 - 9:10 A.M. and 3:40 - 4:05 P.M.  The buses have to be able to pick up and drop off the children safely every day.

Baby Blue Pantry is thriving and making a difference in our community!  We currently have a need for diapers (all sizes) and formula; however, we are still accepting donations of wet wipes, baby food, diaper creams, and baby bath/lotion as well.  For those wishing to make a monetary donation, we do have a GoFundMe page available.  Thank you for all you’ve done to make this a huge success!

Please remember that open-back shoes are NOT allowed at Wee Care Learning Center.  Make sure your child wears appropriate footwear to school.

Thanks for helping us protect your children.

imagesThank you for getting your parent surveys filled out and turned in so quickly.  The feedback has been extremely helpful!  If you have not turned yours in, it is not too late.

Here are just a few of the comments that parents shared about Wee Care and its staff members:

“We love Wee Care!  Miss Kathy Poss is friendly, organized, and runs a tight ship!  Mr. Ryan is so patient and good with the kids.

“I love the infant room employees, equipment, and friendly loving environment. Miss Deanne is amazing!!!  She is always in a great mood and goes the extra mile to care for those who are truly helpless."

“Miss Diane helped me get my child up to par for Kindergarten. Kudos to all staff, amazing in our eyes!!!

“They are all so kind and truly care about the children and their progress.  My boys truly love them all.  They have made a lasting memory on me forever.

“We like the friendly atmosphere and positive attitude of all of the staff.  My chid looks forward to going to “school” everyday.

“We like the transportation [that is provided] to and from school.  Miss Donna is always there to greet you with a smile...she is always on top of it.

“Miss Kris and Miss Linda are always happy and friendly.  My child is always personally greeted when walking into/out of class and that shows her that she is important. We like that we pray before we eat our snacks as a family of friends.

“I love the fact that I can go to work and know my children are taken care of every minute that they are at Wee Care. We feel that Deanna, Kaitlyn, Jamie, Aime, and Melissa love our kids as if they were their own."

WE ARE EXCITED to be using FACEBOOK as a more regular means of communication with parents.  Please be sure to find us and “like” us so you do not miss any updates.

Do not bring toys from home unless it is Show & Share day.  It is too easy for them to get lost or broken, and they can cause problems in the classrooms.  If you are unsure of your child's Show & Share day, check with their teachers.  Please leave all guns, weapons, and electronics at home.  Stuffed animals are always welcome for nap time, but they need to be placed in the child's bed box.

     We ask for your help.

  • Let us know if you will be needing full-day care for a school age child.  Please give advance notice when possible.
  • We need to know if your child is going to be out.  Please call as early as possible so we know how many lunches to make.
